Under the direction of 'Chris Taylor' (director of Lavender Castle). I created the main characters and many of the sets based on Danny Flynns' sketches. Motion capture (body and facial) was then applied including necessary animation, camera and lighting effects. Length of project: three months. Red Vision - May 2009 – June 2009 ( 2 months) Maya TD, working on a film called 'Ghost Machine'. Duties included tracking, pre-vis, animation, compositing, lighting and rendering. Created training material and demo scenes used for sales purposes. Worked closely with sales and marketing teams in order to secure sales. Clients included those from the automotive, design, architectural, TV, film and games industries. Worked closely with and trained clients in order to meet projects using mental ray rendering software. Demonstrated at CG shows such as Siggraph. The Finishing School, London: Taught a 'Beginners' course for Maya to a group of seven people from the animation industry. - 8th January, - 14th January, 2001. AudioMotion, Banbury: Using a variety of 2d/3d packages (primarily Maya) to create animations for use in TV/ film production and game FMV. Utilizing the very latest technology in facial and body motion capture in order to drive cg characters. - October, 1997 – April 2000 Vektor Multimedia, Chorley: Designed and created computer graphics for edutainment products. Designed games for use in teaching simple language tools for young children. Created cg interfaces for navigation within these environments. I also designed the packaging for these products. Alias Power Animator was my main tool for 3d work. - May, 1995 to October 1997 C.F.X., London: Trainee position. Using a spare sgi machine I was able to train myself on Side Effects 'Prisms' 3d software. (Precursor to Houdini). - September, 1994 to December, 1994 KC Design, Houghton Regis: Trainee graphic designer, responsible in all areas of the department.
